1. Landscaping: 

✅Encourage residents and businesses to replace traditional landscaping with xeriscaping, which involves using drought-tolerant plants and native species that require less water.

2. Water-Efficient Fixtures and Appliances: 

✅Implement programs to incentivize the installation of water-efficient fixtures and appliances in homes and businesses. 

✅Encourage residents to replace old toilets, faucets, and shower heads with WaterSense-labeled products, which use less water without sacrificing performance. 

✅Additionally, promote the use of energy-efficient dishwashers and washing machines that require less water for operation.

3. Public Education and Outreach:

✅ Launch educational campaigns to raise awareness about water conservation practices and encourage behavior change among residents. 

✅Provide resources, workshops, and online materials that offer tips on reducing water waste, such as fixing leaks, using rain barrels for outdoor watering, implementing smart irrigation systems and using metal or glass bottles instead of plastic bottles . 

✅Engage schools, community groups, and local businesses in water conservation initiatives to foster a culture of sustainability throughout the city.
